Privacy policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

Chuss is a chess-variant game for iPhone and Android, made by the Chuss Team ("we"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. If you have any questions, email support@playchuss.com.

Playing without an account

You can play against the computer and read the rules without signing in. In that case Chuss doesn't send anything about you to our servers.

What we collect when you create an account

Our service providers' servers also keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to run and secure the service.

What we don't do

Who processes your information

We use a small number of providers to run Chuss, only for the purposes above:

How long we keep it, and deleting your account

We keep your account information for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, email address, username, rating, record, friends, blocks and notification token. Games you played stay in your opponents' history, with your side shown as a deleted player, and reports you made stay with us, no longer linked to you. You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing support@playchuss.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your information, or to object to how we use it. Email us and we'll help.

Children

Chuss isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app.
